Recipients should have a strong reputation for excellence in judging, a proven track record of providing effective and constructive feedback, and a deep commitment to educational judging. Applicants must be eligible to judge at the National Tournament and not already committed to judging for a school. Recipients are expected to serve exclusively in a judging capacity while onsite and must refrain from providing coaching or instruction to any students during the tournament.
