Become a Speech & Debate Coach with Dipont Education in China
Are you passionate about developing confident, articulate thinkers? Do you enjoy coaching public speaking and debate while mentoring students to excel?
We’re seeking an experienced Speech and Debate Coach to lead and grow our program in Kunshan. You’ll train students in public speaking, argumentation, and debate, prepare them for competitions, and help build a dynamic, high-impact program.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the speech and debate program (curriculum, training, competitions)
- Coach students in speaking, critical thinking, and debate strategy
- Prepare students for local, national, and international competitions
- Provide individualized feedback and mentorship
- Manage and coordinate events
- Communicate with students, parents, and staff
Your Schedule:
This full-time role involves a five-day workweek, which may include Saturdays and/or Sundays, with two days off scheduled throughout the week. You’ll balance classroom instruction with dedicated time for lesson planning and student support.
Instructors teach all levels, including primary school, middle school and high school aged students.
• Spring & Fall: Teach up to 24 hours per week, balancing weekday courses within the school and weekend classes for students in the surrounding area.
• Winter & Summer Camps: Work with other Speech and Debate coaches in the Dipont ecosystem and travel to other cities in China to lead labs at our Summer and Winter Speech and Debate Camps.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
2+ years debate coaching experience
Strong understanding of debate formats (NSDA preferred)
Eligible for a Chinese work visa
