Preet Bharara is a lawyer, podcast host, and author. He served as the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York from 2009 to 2017, earning a reputation of a “crusader” prosecutor. Under his leadership, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York prosecuted nearly 100 Wall Street executives for insider trading and other offenses. In 2019, he released a book entitled Doing Justice: A Prosecutor’s Thoughts on Crime, Punishment, and the Rule of Law.
