Class of 2005 | Celebration High School, FL
Tara Tedrow’s winning career began at Celebration High School, where she competed on the debate team for four years. During that time, she won three national Lincoln-Douglas Debate championships in the same year—the only high school debater in history to do so. She credits this experience with guiding her to a successful law career.
After competing, Tara helped found a nonprofit, The Florida Debate Initiative, to help students across Florida participate in speech and debate competitions.
Tara is also an attorney and shareholder at Lowndes Law and serves as an appointee to several state boards. She also teaches a course at the University of Florida.
Over the years, she has been recognized by Orlando Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 list and Orlando Magazine’s Women of the Year.
