Bryan Washington is a writer from Houston, Texas. His fiction and essays have appeared in The New York Times, The New York Times Magazine, The New Yorker, BuzzFeed, Vulture, The Paris Review, Boston Review, Tin House, Bon Appétit, One Story, MUNCHIES, American Short Fiction, GQ, FADER, The Awl, Hazlitt, and Catapult, where he wrote a column called “Bayou Diaries.” His first book, Lot, was published by Riverhead Books in March 2019. His second book, Memorial, will follow from Riverhead in 2020.
